The Dywidag rod (formwork tie rod) is the heart of wall formwork tying: the rod passes through a Mriron tube between the two form faces and is closed on both sides with a wing nut or plate nut. We supply weldable and non-weldable Dywidag rods in all lengths, with all accompanying nuts.
The complementary plastic accessories - 2-meter Mriron tubes, end cones, rubber sealing plugs and stoppers - ensure easy rod extraction, full sealing of the holes and a clean concrete finish.

What is the difference between weldable and non-weldable Dywidag rods?+
A weldable Dywidag rod is made of steel suitable for welding nuts, plates or rebar to it. A non-weldable rod has higher tensile strength but must not be welded. Verify which type the drawings require.
What is a Mriron tube for?+
The Mriron tube sleeves the Dywidag rod inside the cast wall, allowing the rod to be extracted and reused after the pour. The remaining hole is closed with a rubber sealing plug.
