Plastic Spacers

Made in Israel · 24-48h delivery · Full quality control

Plastic spacers are the most common and cost-effective solution for maintaining standard concrete cover in pours. They are light, strong and quick to install, ensuring a uniform, precise gap along the entire pour.

All Yam Building Industries spacers are manufactured at our Mishor Adumim plant from quality PP and ABS raw materials - largely recycled plastic, as part of our environmental commitment.

The range includes all leading models: Nadal for bottom mesh, Star for walls and columns, Kipod for pipe arrangement, the universal Keeper, rolling wheels for piles, DH round spacers and UP10 plates for thin castings - plus two continuous-support solutions: a zigzag spacer for ceilings and walls (Baranovich method), and a wide-base spacer for soft surfaces such as waterproofing membranes, nylon and gypsum boards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are recycled plastic spacers strong enough?+

Yes. The recycled plastic we use is sorted and quality-controlled, and the finished products withstand the required casting loads just like virgin plastic.

Which spacer suits a wall and which a slab?+

For walls and columns use models that lock onto vertical rebar - "Star" or "Keeper". For slabs use models that carry the mesh from below - the continuous "Nadal" or UP10 plates.

What is a Baranovich-method spacer?+

The "Baranovich" method builds concrete walls with reinforcement mesh. The zigzag spacer sits on the support stone and holds the mesh at a fixed distance from the formwork without tying rebar, greatly speeding up on-site work.

Which spacer suits a soft surface like a waterproofing membrane?+

The wide-base spacer is designed exactly for this: the wide base distributes the weight and prevents sinking or puncturing of waterproofing membranes, nylon, polystyrene and gypsum boards.
